The Academic Support Center Student Assistant is responsible for supporting ASC student services and programs. Student Assistants monitor access to the ASC, greet visitors, schedule appointments, answer phone calls, check out materials, and support student promotional events.

• Monitor access to the ASC and greet visitors
• Schedule appointments and answer phone calls
• Check out materials and support student promotional events

• Must have excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette
• Must have the ability to multitask and interact professionally with students, faculty, and staff
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Canvas, and other applications
• Must be a self-starter in exercising initiative

• Must be awarded Federal Work-Study from the Office of Financial Aid
• Must be a current UHD student and in good standing with the university
• Minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA
• Must be willing to work mornings, midday, evenings, and weekends
