Job SummaryAssists the Student Life Coordinator with the overall management and implementation of program activities and services that enhance student leadership, participation, good citizenship, success and retention, and assists with planning, organizing, and implementation of Student Life programs and activities.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above. The qualifications listed below are representative of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
Education- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s degree preferred.
- 1 year experience in an academic related environment; in a community college academic or student service area required.
Skills and Abilities
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Able to communicate courteously and effectively.
- Demonstrate patience and tolerance in dealing with student problems.
- Demonstrate computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office programs.
