Position: Admissions Counsellor (US Colleges)

Strategy Consultants (Admissions Counsellors) at Crimson embody this philosophy by personalizing road‑maps that chart students’ academic, extracurricular, and personal development, bridging the gap between their present status and future goals.

This is a full‑time position that can be based remotely or in one of our many offices around the globe. We are also open to part‑time candidates (25–30+ hours) who have high‑demand backgrounds.

What Success Looks Like
  • Provide overarching admissions strategies to students by creating individualized plans and executing them with the Crimson team (Educational Coordinators, Academic Tutors, Application Consultants, ECL Mentors).
  • Maintain expert knowledge of high school curricula, extracurricular and leadership options, summer program applications, and standardized test planning to make informed admissions recommendations.
  • Use in‑depth knowledge of higher‑education institutions to guide students and parents toward attainable school goals, creating best‑fit school lists that maximize acceptance chances.
  • Conduct formal consulting sessions with students on a bi‑monthly basis, documenting and sharing notes and action items with relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain reasonable levels of communication with students and families outside formal sessions through various channels (e.g., email).
  • Facilitate or lead the development and presentation of marketing materials for seminars or local market expositions.
  • Collaborate with local Sales teams during initial consultations to facilitate potential client investment and understanding of Crimson’s products and services.
  • Assist with product and resource development initiatives to enhance our service.
What Skills And Experience You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree from a top 20 U.S. university or Oxbridge (special consideration may be given to those with undergraduate admissions consulting backgrounds).
  • Strong preference for experience with U.S./U.K. admissions consulting at the undergraduate level for top universities.
  • Passion for coaching young adults and appreciation of global perspectives.
  • Superior planning and organizational skills; experience in project management, event coordination, and product management is a plus.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Stakeholder management experience (collaborating with a range of internal stakeholders, students, and parents).
  • Resilience when working independently under pressure, with flexibility and adaptability in a fast‑paced, growing organization.
  • Experience in education, coaching, tutoring, or admissions consulting preferred.
