Department:
Library | Salary: $12.00 per hour
Assist Library staff with daily tasks throughout the Library.
Job Duties- Assist Library staff with day-to-day tasks
- Help patrons with computing (MS Office, Canvas, etc.), printing, scanning
- Perform circulation duties: checks in and out library material
- Enter study room reservation data and monitor study rooms
- Clear printer jams and maintain paper levels; some lifting of up to 25 lbs. is required
- Log in non-UHD patrons, alumni, and prospective students
- Shelve, organize and pick up library material
- Light cleaning and clerical work
- Assist with various library projects
- Assist with maintaining the library’s content management system
- Assist with troubleshooting online library resources
- Assist with troubleshooting technology hardware
- Must be a current UHD student
- Must be eligible for Texas Work-Study
