• Associate’s degree from an accredited college. Four (4) years of directly related experience may substitute the degree requirement.
• Two (2) years of relevant experience in admissions, testing, recruitment and retention, counseling, or other related student service activities.
• Experience working with a diverse population.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with community agencies and social services to identify recruitment opportunities.
• Bilingual is an important plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Ability to work on a team with diverse individuals.
• Self‑starter, problem‑solver, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent time‑management skills required.
• Knowledge of the greater Houston area and familiarity with the service‑area school districts, universities, and colleges is preferred.
