Overview
A leading company in the education industry is seeking an Assistant Director to oversee day-to-day learning center operations. The ideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented operator with strong communication and scheduling skills.
Salary + Additional Benefits: $20/hr + Bonus
Location: Kingwood, TX - Onsite
Type of Position: Direct Hire
Responsibilities- Administer, score, and write up student academic evaluations.
- Create, maintain, and update individualized learning programs.
- Teach students during their first session and step in to teach as needed.
- Monitor student progress and make program adjustments.
- Conduct progress meetings with parents and students.
- Maintain accurate student files and instructional records.
- Hire, onboard, train, and support part-time teachers.
- Create and manage student and teacher schedules.
- Ensure teachers are prepared and following instructional plans.
- Observe instruction and provide feedback.
- Anticipate staffing needs and adjust schedules proactively.
- Track teacher hours and prepare payroll information for approval.
- Respond promptly and professionally to parent inquiries.
- Conduct consultations and intake meetings.
- Clearly explain programs, progress, and expectations to parents.
- Follow up with families consistently and accurately.
- Support enrollment and student retention through strong execution.
- Maintain accurate attendance, billing, and student records.
- Ensure data is entered correctly in all systems.
- Monitor supplies and communicate needs in advance.
- Keep the center organized, presentable, and ready for instruction.
- Complete daily administrative tasks without reminders.
- Identify operational issues early and resolve them.
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2+ years of experience in a fast paced office environment
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong follow-through and time management skills
- Comfortable managing people, schedules, and systems
- Clear, professional communicator
- Calm, reliable, and consistent
- Takes pride in execution and operational order
