As a Tech Industry Analyst, you will be a key player in this transformation, leveraging our powerful platforms to deliver insightful, data-driven content that differentiates our services in the competitive landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Research & Content Creation:
- Conduct in-depth research on technology markets, emerging trends, and key industry players.
- Produce high-quality research notes, blogs, detailed reports, competitive analyses, and market studies.
- Create video content and participate in live event coverage to provide real-time insights.
- Regularly publish thought leadership pieces and market analyses in both written and video formats.
Market Knowledge & Relationship Building:
- Develop a strong understanding of market leaders, challengers, and emerging entities in the technology sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry executives, product leaders, and marketing professionals.
- Provide strategic guidance and insights to clients through briefings, advisory sessions, and ongoing inquiries.
Client Engagement & Advisory:
- Proactively reach out to clients to highlight key findings from your research and offer strategic advice.
- Lead client-sponsored research projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of custom content.
- Engage in 4-5 vendor briefings and sales calls per week, demonstrating your knowledge and enhancing client relationships.
- Attend relevant industry events to gather insights, observe trends, and connect with key players.
- Serve as a lead host on theCUBE, conducting live interviews and providing event coverage.
- Develop and deliver presentations, round tables, and webinars as part of custom consulting projects.
Social Media & Brand Amplification:
- Maintain a strong and consistent presence on social media platforms, particularly Linked In and Twitter.
- Engage with your audience by sharing research findings, videos, and event highlights.
- Work to get quoted in media outlets and participate in TV programs to elevate your personal and professional brand.
Revenue Generation:
- Successfully build and maintain a practice area generating $750,000 - $1.5M annually.
- Achieve a high renewal rate and net contract value increases (NCVI), ensuring net revenue retention (NRR) exceeds 100%.
- Contribute to sales efforts by setting up sales teams to close business through impressive client engagements.
Content Production & Engagement:
- Publish at least one substantive thought leadership piece per week.
- Participate in 4-5 vendor briefings or sales calls weekly, providing insightful and actionable feedback.
- Engage in custom consulting projects, delivering high-value content on tight deadlines.
- Maintain a strong presence on social media with daily posts and frequent, thoughtful engagement.
- Ensure your research is regularly quoted in media outlets and you appear on podcasts or TV programs to enhance visibility.
- Consistently promote your work across social channels, ensuring it reaches a wide and relevant audience.
Event Hosting & Client Interaction:
- Lead host theCUBE events and client-sponsored video interviews, meeting all content preparation and delivery requirements.
- Regularly interact with clients through inquiries, briefings, and post-event follow-ups, maintaining weekly contact with key clients.
Ethical Integrity:
- Uphold the highest standards of honesty and integrity in all analyses and recommendations.
- Avoid compromising ethics for financial gain, ensuring all content and advice are defensible and truthful.
