As a Center Support, you play a critical role in creating a welcoming, healthy, and safe environment for children, families, and staff. You will manage both kitchen and cleaning-related tasks while embodying our core values of listen, learn, and lead to support the overall success of our preschool.

• Managing the Kitchen:
  Lead the effort to provide healthy snacks and meals, ensuring that food is prepared and served in line with allergen information and hygiene standards. Support the creation of a positive dining experience, oversee kitchen cleanliness, washing/sterilizing, and efficient trash disposal.
• Ensuring cleanliness of the environment:
  Take the lead in maintaining a clean, inviting atmosphere throughout the common spaces of the school. Handle laundry, manage clutter, and ensure common area trash is emptied regularly.
• Maintenance and cleanliness of the kitchen:
  Take ownership for the kitchen, ensuring it remains clean and hygienic for children and staff meals.
• Serving snacks and meals:
  From breakfast onward, provide healthy snacks and meals, serve on time to classrooms, support inventory and ordering of food items and kitchen supplies.
• Cleaning:
  Maintain a clean environment by emptying trash cans, disposing of broken items, cleaning surfaces, putting things away, and handling laundry at end of each shift.
• Hosting meal times:
  Actively participate by educating children about food, helping them develop healthy habits.
• Team Player:
  Build strong relationships with children, families, and the team by listening to their needs, offering support, proactively identifying challenges, and helping in classrooms as needed.
• Welcoming spaces:
  Ensure front‑of‑house is always welcoming, clean, and clutter‑free. Support admin team with seasonal decorations and create an inviting space for families.
• Other duties as reasonably requested by the school management.
