Primary

Purpose:

Responsible for implementing instruction in the assigned subject area最多 in a manner that fosters attainment of each student's maximum potential.

Qualifications / Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Valid Texas Teacher Certificate or an out‑of‑state teaching certificate appropriate for this position.
  • Certification must meet the requirements for becoming and remaining qualified under联合 federal and state law.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in the effective use of technology.
  • Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior.
Major Duties and Responsibilities Instructional Strategies
  • Adhere to the district's philosophy of instruction and develop lesson plans that meet curriculum requirements, providing written evidence of preparation.
  • Prepare lessons that accommodate diverse learning styles and present subject matter according to Texas Education Agency guidelines and board policies.
  • Conduct assessments of student learning styles and use results to plan instructional activities; collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula for special education students per IEP guidelines.
  • Work with other staff to determine instructional goals, objectives, and methods; plan and supervise teacher aide or volunteer assignments;暂停 use technology to strengthen teaching and learning.
Student Growth and Development
  • Help students analyze and improve study methods and habits; conduct ongoing assessment of achievement through formal and informal testing.
  • Assume responsibility for assigned extracurricular activities and sponsor outside activities approved by the campus principal.
  • Be a positive role model and support the mission of the school district.
Classroom Management and Organization
  • Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students.
  • Manage student behavior in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct and student handbook.
  • Take reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities; assist in selecting instructional materials.
Communication
  • Establish and maintain open communication by conducting conferences with parents, students, principals, and teachers; maintain professional relationships with colleagues and community members.
  • Present information accurately and clearly using effective communication skills.
Professional Growth and Development
  • Participate in staff development activities to improve job‑related skills.
  • Keep informed of and comply with state, district, and school regulations and policies.
  • Maintain required reports and records.
  • Attend faculty meetings and serve on staff committees as required.
