THE ROLE
When you join the YES Prep team, some of the work and responsibilities will include:
- Use student data to drive decisions, identify trends, and implement targeted interventions that improve systems, track progress, and meet campus goals. Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal policies related to student supports, discipline, wellness, and family engagement.
- Lead, manage, and coach campus based student support roles including Deans of Students, Student Support Counselors, Behavior Support Specialists, Behavior Support Assistants, and other leaders by providing regular feedback, individualized development plans, and ongoing coaching.
- Design, monitor, and refine systems that promote positive school culture, restorative discipline, student belonging, and social emotional wellness. Oversee intervention programs and MTSS structures that support academic and non academic needs and reduce at risk barriers to success.
- Lead crisis response efforts by coordinating communication, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and supporting students, staff, and families through de escalation, stabilization, and recovery.
- Develop and deliver professional development focused on school culture, character development, restorative practices, and strong systems implementation. Collaborate with campus leadership to plan and execute programs aligned to student data, campus priorities, and the overall vision.
- Build and maintain consistent, transparent communication systems with students and families, while supporting initiatives that strengthen family engagement and foster strong partnerships.
- Serve as a key connector between the Student Support Team, campus directors, district leadership, and families to ensure aligned priorities, shared goals, and high quality execution.
- Partner with campus and district teams to advance strategic priorities, refine systems, and secure exceptional outcomes for students.
- Additional duties as assigned.

THE MUST-HAVES
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
- At least two or more years in a mid-level manager position at a campus
- Experience providing teachers with instructional or student behavior support
- Experience managing a team or leading adults
- Ability to work outside of regular hours and on weekends
- Belief in and commitment to the mission and core value of YES Prep Public Schools
- Openness to giving and receiving frequent feedback
- Ability to maintain emotional control under stress
- Ability to work urgently in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment
- Ability to analyze data to craft action plans
- Engage in difficult conversations
- Demonstrate skills in conflict resolution
- Creates and maintains positive working relationships on a team and in a highly collaborative environment
- A dedication to learn, grow and develop as a professional
- Master's Degree from an accredited educational institution
- At least three or more years in a mid-level manager position at a campus
- At least three years of exemplary teaching experience
- Belief in and commitment to the mission and core values of YES Prep Public Schools
