This position requires upholding the mission of Lone Star College (LSC) and demonstrating positive interpersonal behaviors, professional communication, integrity, leadership, stewardship, respect, and accountability to LSC students and employees.

• Teach Network Technology courses at various times and locations.
• Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material.
• Submit required college reports and forms in a timely manner.
• Use a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines.
• Meet with and advise students before or after class, by appointment, electronic communication, or other appropriate methods.
• Evaluate students to measure progress in achieving course objectives and inform students of their progress.
• Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.
• Attend meetings, trainings, and orientations as required.
• Perform other reasonable, related duties as assigned.

• Work is sedentary; occasional walking, standing, bending, carrying light items, or driving may be required. No special physical demands are required.

• Equipment: PC workstation with LAN, Windows environment, calculator, phone, and other general office equipment.
• Interaction:
  Internal and external contacts as needed to carry out job functions.
• Environment:
  Climate‑controlled classroom or lab with minimal exposure to safety hazards.
• Hours vary with class schedules; instructors must be available to students outside of scheduled instruction.

• Associate degree or higher in an IT or IT‑related field, plus at least 3 years of non‑teaching work experience or relevant industry certification(s).

Salary: $55.44 per contact hour.
