As the Bilingual Residential Children & Youth Enrichment Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating enrichment programs and activities at the Flagship Campus, serving child survivors and witnesses of domestic violence.
Your Schedule:
- Monday - Wednesday - Friday 9 a.m.
-6 p.m. - Tuesday - Thursday 11 a.m.
- 8p.m. - Flexibility to work one Saturday per month
- Work Model: 100% onsite
- Local Travel: 5%
- Hourly Compensation: $17.02
- Pay schedule: semi-monthly

The Requirements We are Seeking:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and an additional 2 years of experience in lieu of education
- Associate's Degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, Public Health, Criminal Justice, or similar social science.
- A minimum of 1 year experience creating and facilitating lesson plans to school-age children from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Teams, and Outlook)
- Bilingual in both English and Spanish, able to read, speak, and write fluently in both languages.
- Current First Aid - CPR required.
- Childhood Development Certificate, preferred.
- Texas driver's license with a good driving record; reliable transportation; ability to travel to off-site locations utilizing personal transportation, and the ability to drive a large passenger van.
- You will develop and implement social-emotional learning curricula, after-school programs, and summer activities for children, focusing on safety skills, conflict resolution, violence prevention, and healthy coping strategies.
- You will plan, coordinate, and oversee a variety of after-school and summer programming, including literacy initiatives, educational and cultural activities, holiday events, and field trips.
- You will facilitate age-appropriate personal development skills workshops for children, covering topics such as safety, violence prevention, conflict management, multicultural awareness, team building, self-esteem, leadership, and empowerment.
- You will model and teach non-violent discipline techniques and conflict resolution strategies to clients and their children.
- You will establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations to provide enrichment services and support programming.
- You will deliver services to children and parents through a feminist perspective, emphasizing empowerment, addressing power dynamics and gender issues, and maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
- You will accurately document and maintain daily records and statistics related to services provided.
- You will analyze outcome data to evaluate program effectiveness, identify needs, and recommend improvements to the supervisor.
- You will conduct Parent/Child Orientation sessions to introduce families to program expectations and services.
- You will perform other duties and projects as assigned.
- Computer savvy able to learn new applications and systems quickly.
- Strong data entry skills.
