THE ROLE
  • Collect, maintain, and analyze student data to assess progress, identify trends, and drive strategic planning and continuous improvement of campus systems. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal policies related to student achievement, behavior systems, and student support plans.
  • Manage, coach, and develop Grade Level Chairs and other campus stakeholders through regular coaching, performance feedback, and individualized growth plans. Model effective leadership to build their capacity, strengthen execution, and sustain positive outcomes.
  • Manage student discipline referrals by investigating, responding, and resolving cases promptly in alignment with policy, restorative practices, and accurate documentation to strengthen school culture.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor systems that support Tier 1 through Tier 3 interventions addressing academic, behavioral, and social‑emotional needs. Lead teams in the implementation and monitoring of MTSS frameworks to ensure consistent and effective intervention practices.
  • Build strong relationships with students, staff, families, and community partners to support campus needs and student success. Communicate clearly and provide targeted resources that support student wellness inside and outside the classroom.
  • Serve as a liaison between Grade Level Chairs, campus leadership, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment, collaboration, and shared ownership of priorities. Collaborate with campus teams to ensure targeted support reinforces school values, culture, and expectations.
  • Support the development, execution, and sustainability of the campus culture vision by aligning systems and initiatives to campus priorities. Manage and evaluate programs that promote academic achievement, strengthen social‑emotional wellness, and foster a positive school culture.

MUST HAVES
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year educational institution
  • At least 3 years as a teacher of record or in a student‑facing leadership or program role
  • At least 2 years serving as a Grade Level Chair or equivalent role
  • Experience in coaching or leading adults
  • Belief in and commitment to the mission and core values of YES Prep Public Schools
  • Openness to giving and receiving frequent feedback
  • Ability to maintain emotional control under stress
