The British International School of Houston isseekingto appoint a well-qualified and experienced Learning Support Teacher to join the Student Support Services Team. We are particularly interested in candidates with specific experience in Early Years and Lower Primary School (students aged 3-8). This role involves supporting students who require short-term learning interventions or those with identified learning differences, enabling them to access the curriculum through appropriate classroomand test accommodations and strategies.

Essential qualities for this role include excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a willingness to collaborate with colleagues across the Early Years and Primary School phases to deliver world‑class support. Additionally, the successful candidate will provide regular updates to parents, offering guidance andassistancethroughout their child's learning journey.

All post holders in regulated activity (having regular unsupervised contact with children) are subject to appropriate national and international vetting procedures including satisfactory criminal record checks from both your country of residence/birth and any country of residence within the last 10 years.
