Located in Katy, Texas just outside the Houston metro area, BIS Houston is a state‑of‑the‑art campus that serves 1,300 students from 67 nationalities. We follow the National Curriculum for England, IGCSE and the IB Diploma from Foundation Stage to Year 13. Every year a high proportion of our students gain admission to top universities worldwide.

The Secondary English Department provides learning across the school for students aged 11 to 18 years old. Due to our growth, we seek an experienced English Teacher to work with students in the Middle School (ages 9‑14) and High School (ages 15‑18).

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in IGCSE English Language and Literature and IB Language and Literature.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and curriculum coherence.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and school initiatives.

• Experienced English Teacher with a proven track record in secondary teaching.
• Experience teaching IGCSE and IB English (or equivalent).
• Strong classroom management and assessment skills.

Location:

Houston, TX. Salary range: $54,000 – $61,500 per annum, full‑time.
