Description
The University of Houston-Clear Lake (UHCL) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Public Health beginning August 2026 in the new Bachelor of Public Health. The selected candidate will also contribute and be responsible for the implementation of the program and teach in the program. The program is housed in the Psychological and Behavioral Health Sciences department within the College of Human Sciences and Humanities.
Appointment will be at the Associate Professor level.
Responsibilities include teaching the equivalent of three classes per semester (fall and spring) and mentoring students in research, and participating in program, college, and University service.
Qualifications Required- Earned doctorate in Public Health is required.
- Evidence of or potential for teaching excellence across a wide range of public health courses
- Experience with implementing curriculum associated with public health degrees.
