Overview
Adjunct Faculty - Engineering position at the University of Houston (Cullen College of Engineering). This is a non-tenure-track, part-time role in the First Year Experience (FYE) faculty group. Courses are at the undergraduate level, focusing on first-year engineering courses and a limited number of sophomore engineering courses as well.
The appointment is on a semester basis to teach one or more courses, depending on department needs. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate engineering courses, with emphasis on first-year courses and a limited number of sophomore courses.
- Serve as an adjunct faculty member in a non-tenure-track capacity for the duration of the appointment.
- Appointments are made on a semester basis based on department needs.
- Ph.D. in Engineering with teaching experience at the university level.
