Killeen is in central Texas. It is a medium-sized town that offers its residents all the amenities and services of a much larger city, while maintaining a cozy, close-knit feel. East of the city, Temple Lake Park has picnic areas, a beach, and bass-filled waters. The location is ideal, as it is a one-hour drive to Austin.
