As the largest Federally Qualified Health Center in Southeast Texas, we have been providing quality and affordable healthcare for nearly 40 years. With close to 60 clinics across Houston, Baytown, Beaumont, and Deer Park, we are committed to innovating healthcare delivery to meet the growing needs of our communities.

As an Internal Medicine Physician, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments using advanced diagnostic tools.
• Identify and address immediate patient needs, utilizing innovative referral systems for long-term management.
• Perform physical examinations and maintain meticulous documentation for seamless patient care coordination.
• Engage in collaborative consultations with specialists to ensure cutting-edge treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to support data-driven therapeutic decisions.
• Supervise and mentor mid-level providers, enhancing team capabilities.
• Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention strategies.
• Foster a team-oriented environment to enhance patient care and service delivery.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols through regular training and audits.
• Commit to lifelong learning by completing annual education programs and staying updated on medical advancements.

To thrive in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Education: Must be licensed in Texas as an MD or DO, with an active DEA. Successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited residency or clinical fellowship in Internal Medicine is required.
• Experience: Previous experience in a hospital and/or clinic setting is essential. Proficiency in all aspects of EMR is a must.
• Skills: Ability to meet Legacy Community Health’s EPIC proficiency requirements.
