Position OverviewAs a member of the Thoracic/Head & Neck Medical Oncology (THNMO) department, you will have the chance to collaborate with an exciting group of clinicians and physician-scientists. This role not only allows you to provide exceptional patient care but also to engage in groundbreaking research and educational programs that advance personalized medicine.
Your ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:
- Deliver exemplary clinical care and participate in clinical research trials.
- Expand clinical practice across our Houston area locations.
- Mentor and educate medical fellows, residents, and students.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
- Engage in administrative duties and serve on institutional committees.
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- A doctorate-level degree in a relevant field.
- A valid Texas medical license.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to perform invasive procedures.
- A commitment to research and education in the field of oncology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This position is primarily clinical (80%), with opportunities for research (15%) and education (3%). You will be expected to maintain a balanced workload while providing high-quality patient care.
