Summary

The Henry J. N. Taub Department of Emergency Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) is looking for faculty of all levels who are interested in a career in academic emergency medicine. We are also hiring faculty of all ranks and seeking applicants who have demonstrated a strong interest and background in a variety of areas such as research, ultrasound, critical care, quality, health policy, medical education, or operations.

• Provide expert emergency medicine care across a unique trio of premier clinical sites:
  Ben Taub General Hospital (high‑volume, public Level 1 trauma center), Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center (high‑acuity qua ternary care and transplant center), and Texas Children’s Hospital (nationally top‑ranked, comprehensive pediatric hospital).
• Work among multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality patient care, adhering to best practices, care directives, and participating in performance improvement.
• Contribute meaningfully to department goals and support the overall success of the organization.

• Graduation from an accredited medical school.

• Current Texas medical license.
• Current Federal Drug Enforcement Agency license.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
• Basic Cardiac Life Certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Certification.
