Senior Product Development Manager

Senior-Level Product Development Manager focused on product management and software engineering manaqgement for client facing software in the commercial energy and commercial facilities management industry. This is a highly impactful role where you’ll balance internal customer needs, team leadership and technical guidance, working closely with engineers to deliver new software and features that directly shape the future of this industry.

• Lead product development for a team of software engineers working across 2 main product lines and several smaller applications.
• Own end-to-end execution and delivery accountability for features and initiatives.
• Ensure delivery discipline and milestone tracking aligned with product roadmaps.
• Translate product strategy into clear, actionable user stories and epics.
• Maintain product backlog with a strong focus on priority, scope, and feasibility.
• Lead grooming sessions and sprint planning with engineering.
• Align technical teams with product vision and customer needs.
• Communicate effectively with business stakeholders on tradeoffs, timelines, and risks.
• Partner with Executives, Marketing, Sales, and technical leadership to define strategy, goals, and product roadmaps.
• Ensure on-time delivery of features while balancing quality, scalability, and speed.
• Collaborate to align technical direction across all product lines.
• Play a key role in hiring, onboarding, and leading engineering talent.
• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Balance business goals with technical complexity and constraints.

• 10-12+years of total experience, including 4+ years of recent experience in product management and 2+ years in software engineering leadership. Prior technical or software development experience is preferred for this role.
• Experience leading teams that own multiple product areas or lines.
• Strong technical background with familiarity in modern web technologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across executives, engineering and product.
