Overview
We are working with a fully-integrated real estate investment firm based in Houston, TX. This company has around 2M SF of space and is growing. The bulk of their properties are retail shopping centers. The head of development is looking to hire their first-ever in-house Architect here in Houston. This person will work alongside the development & construction team and report directly to the Development Director (head of development).
The workload will be around 4-8 projects at any given time, 70% of which will be new development. This will be focused on early conceptual site planning, LODs, and lease plans, and will be responsible for managing their A&E consultants.
Responsibilities- Engage in early conceptual site planning for assigned projects
- Develop LODs (Level of Development) and lease plans
- Manage and coordinate with A&E consultants
- Handle a workload of approximately 4-8 projects concurrently, with about 70% new development
