Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time, on‑site Interior Designer role based in Houston, TX. The Interior Designer will develop and execute interior design concepts, work alongside architects and other team members, and collaborate closely with clients. Responsibilities include space planning, selecting materials and finishes, creating layouts, sourcing and specifying furniture and decor, and managing projects to ensure deadlines and budgets are met. The designer will also oversee installations and maintain communication with vendors, contractors, and clients to ensure design integrity and quality.
Qualifications- Strong skills in Space Planning, Materials Selection, and Layout Design
- Proficiency in designing, sourcing, and specifying Furniture, Fixtures, and Décor
- Experience in managing Projects, Budgets, and Timelines with attention to detail
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Sketch Up, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client interactions and teamwork
- A degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Previous experience in residential or high‑end interior design projects is a plus
- Knowledge of local Houston design trends and resources is an advantage
