meg lonergan interiors, a houston based residential interior design firm, is seeking a project designer with 3-5 years of experience in ground‑up new construction and full‑scale renovations to manage and execute all facets of high‑end residential design projects. As a designer and project manager, you will manage multiple projects from start to finish, taking full accountability for every detail.

• design ideation and initial consultations
• drawing and floor plan development
• create and manage project budget
• coordinate, attend, and lead client meetings
• construction administration: provide diligent site supervision with a focus on design implementation and quality control, proactively managing client and contractor communication
• sourcing architectural materials, finishes, furniture, and fittings
• preparation of presentations and proposals, submitting to client
• manage projects expediting through studio designer; coordinate and manage deliveries, storage, purchases, and installations in collaboration with office manager
• vendor communication
• on‑site installation and site visits
• managing project schedules to ensure accuracy, timely installation, and quality of all aspects of remodel and new construction projects
• managing junior designers/interns/assistants on the project
• work seamlessly with the principal to manage, assign tasks, review, and motivate junior team members. Weekly/bi‑weekly update calls.

• proficient on autocad
• knowledge of studio designer preferred
• at least 3–5 years experience in ground‑up new construction and full‑scale renovations
• extremely organized, strong communication skills, positive attitude, team player who loves to collaborate and can work autonomously when needed
