Our progressive Architecture Team in Houston, TX seeks talented Higher Education
Practice Leader
. Practice Leaders have a passion for designing Higher Education environments, finding the Mission for each client. Whether the project is small or large a candidate will thrive on creating solutions that make these spaces better for the people who occupy them.

  • Collaborate on Higher Education projects
  • Concept to complete construction documents
  • Document design work from design presentation to construction documents
  • Develop and maintain effective verbal, graphic, and written communication with clients that support positive, long‑term relationships.
  • Assist in the creation and continued development of design concepts through all phases of design.

We’re looking for passionate, driven self‑starters. Beyond that, you’ll need…

  • Deep Higher Education Building Design experience is a must
  • Professional degree in Architecture, Design, or related field required; master’s degree a plus
  • 15+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of the design process
  • Ability to work through fast paced projects
  • Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks
  • General knowledge of materials and products relevant to project work
  • Independent problem‑solving
  • Advanced technical skills in relevant software programs.
  • Ability to project a professional presence and demeanor
  • Ability to work in a highly visible, team‑oriented environment
  • Collaborate with in house teams across our three offices
  • Proficient in:
    Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Revit and Adobe Suite
