DescriptionResearches, conceives and photographs portraits, architecture and campus life for department publications both print and electronic. Manages photography for a myriad of institutional and presidential requests and serves as university liaison for outsourced photography projects.
Responsibilities- Manages the photographic component of all publications, advertising and university collateral from concept to completion.
- Works in tandem with art director and graphic designers to translate marketing objectives into creative executions.
- Monitors university advertising for adherence to photographic branding and standards.
- Consults with clients to evaluate individual project needs; works with designers and clients to shoot imagery best suited to project needs.
- Serves as photography liaison with outside entities, as needed.
- Makes recommendations for the best approach to photographic assignments.
- Provides video, audio and high resolution still photography in the studio and on location.
- Edits and formats multimedia images using state‑of‑the‑art equipment and software.
- Provides assistance and training on photographic and multimedia equipment and related software to interns and staff as needed.
- Researches, recommends and utilizes new technologies for media and publications.
- Maintains media equipment, facilities, supplies and archives.
- Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.
Experience will be considered in lieu of education.

Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job‑related 4‑year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in‑depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.
Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly related job experience.
