Job DescriptionTo be successful in this role, you’ll need to have evolved your mindset beyond linear television thinking and workflows. You should have a demonstrated track record of executing non‑traditional storytelling formats using video, text, graphics, and music. The content you create will be designed for our live stream, website, and social platforms, with the goal of later repurposing these digital‑first formats for linear broadcasts.
We challenge content creators to tell stories in authentic, anchor‑voice‑free delivery tailored to each platform.
You’ll be part of our highly successful morning news team, taking ownership of the day’s big stories in the field and in‑studio. While your content will be distributed to digital and social platforms first, you’ll also appear on linear broadcasts and streaming news shows. When key anchors take time off, you’ll bring that digital‑streaming mindset to the anchor desk.
A minimum of three years of experience as a reporter and anchor is required. A reel demonstrating your ability to shoot, edit, and produce content will strengthen your application. A robust social‑media footprint focused on news content is a non‑negotiable must‑have.
We are an equal‑opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. We will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories consistent with applicable law.
Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role is $–$ annually, depending on education, skills, experience, and location. The role is eligible for medical, dental, vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for union‑represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
