What You’ll Do
  • Translate creative concepts into detailed mechanical and scenic designs that are both innovative and buildable.
  • Partner with project managers, fabricators, and other designers to develop drawings, renderings, and plans.
  • Work hand‑in‑hand with the fabrication shop to ensure designs are practical, safe, and ready for installation.
  • Contribute to stage and set design, integrating lighting, art, and branding into cohesive scenic experiences.
  • Participate in the entire production process—from ideation and design through onsite execution.
What You’ll Bring
  • 3+ years of professional experience in fabrication or scenic design for corporate events, activations, theater, or related industries.
  • Proficiency in Vectorworks with working knowledge of AutoCAD
    , Adobe Creative Suite
    , Google Docs
    , and Microsoft Office Suite
    .
  • Knowledge of set and lighting design, stage production and corporate room design
    .
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration across creative and technical teams.
  • Ability to work full‑time on‑site in Houston, TX, with flexibility to travel to event locations.
