Job Summary

This role will focus on core building surveying and project management duties to Tuath's stock including property inspections, regulatory compliance, technical due diligence and health & safety matters to residential properties.

Core Duties Building Surveying
  • Defect Analysis inspections and reports.
  • Building Inspection and Snagging Reports.
  • Fire Safety Assessments and Risk Assessments.
  • Energy Improvement Programmes.
Project Management
  • Procurement and contract administration duties.
  • Overseeing repair, planned and cyclical works projects.
  • Technical support on adaptation requests.
General
  • Collaborate with internal teams on property, compliance and regulatory matters.
  • Liaising with OMC's, Local Authorities, Residents and other stakeholders.
  • Provision of detailed professional reports.
Person Specification Qualifications and Experience
  • Level 7 Qualification in Building Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 Years' Experience in a Similar Role.
  • Full clean Driving Licence and use of a car.
Essential Skills and Competencies
  • A strong understanding of building pathology.
  • Experience in diagnosing and managing repairs to domestic buildings.
  • Familiar with the Technical Guidance Documents and building compliance.
  • A sound knowledge of contract management and working to procurement regulations.

  • Proactive and Solution-Orientated.
  • Organised with an attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of skills on Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
