Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Quality Control Manager responsible for overseeing the overall management of construction quality control on a specific project. This role serves as the primary liaison with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and is committed to ensuring all quality control matters are effectively managed and communicated.

Responsibilities

+ Oversee and manage all aspects of construction quality control for the project.

+ Act as the primary liaison between project stakeholders and USACE.

+ Ensure presence onsite at all times during construction activities.

+ Communicate regularly with project and site managers to keep all parties informed of project status and quality issues.

+ Develop and implement quality control plans.

Essential Skills

+ Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

+ Experience in marine construction and dredging.

+ Quality Control Manager experience.

+

Experience with USACE, CQC, CQM, and dredging projects.

+ Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.

+ Physical capability to perform onsite inspections and fieldwork.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors certification held for at least five years.

+ Minimum of five years' experience as a Quality Control Manager.

+ Experience in excavation, bridge, levy, and marine construction.

+ OSHA 30 certification.

+ Experience in federal construction and construction management.

Work Environment

The role involves working in a collaborative, mid-sized team with a business casual dress code and PPE required onsite. The position is based in Venice, LA, and operates on a 14-days-on, 7-days-off schedule. A $52 per diem is provided for each day on site, with travel, lodging, and rental car expenses covered. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
