This is a hybrid (office/remote) position based in Houston, TX.

As an Estimator, you will process job cost estimates for single-family housing units from 3D BIM (Building Information Modeling). The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in the home building industry or a Bachelor in Construction Management. Additional requirements are:

• Must have full working knowledge of architectural plans, details, section views, red lining, and takeoffs.
• Must be able to proficiently complete complex estimating tasks for projects in various design and construction phases.
• Review project plans, specifications, and requirements and incorporate them into estimates.
• Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and unit pricing.
• Identify cost-saving techniques, materials, and procedures.
• Perform cost comparison and analysis as requested.
• Create and maintain formulas and program estimating software to ensure accurate information in the estimating database.
