We are seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale commercial construction projects from groundbreaking through closeout. This role requires a proven construction leader who can manage complex schedules, large crews, multiple trade partners, and strict safety and quality standards.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience on projects such as healthcare facilities, high-rise commercial, industrial, education, or mixed-use developments and thrives in fast-paced, high-accountability environments.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all on-site construction activities for large, complex commercial projects
- Develop, manage, and execute master project schedules and 2-week look-ahead plans
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, foremen, and field staff
- Enforce safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
- Drive quality control and ensure work meets contract documents and specifications
- Partner closely with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, and Inspectors
- Resolve field issues proactively to avoid schedule delays and cost overruns
- Oversee inspections, punch lists, commissioning, and project closeout
- Mentor and develop junior superintendents and field personnel
- 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent on large-scale commercial projects
- Proven track record leading projects valued at $50M+ (or similar scale)
- Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequencing
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and large field teams
- Proficient with construction technology (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)
- Strong commitment to jobsite safety and quality excellence
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
