Residential Construction Superintendent

, you will be the driving force behind the successful execution of our residential projects, overseeing the entire construction process to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and the highest quality standards. This is an opportunity to lead, inspire, and make a significant impact on the future of residential construction.
- Manage and oversee on-site construction activities from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all activities are sequenced and coordinated.
- Coordinate and communicate with the field team and Project Manager to ensure project success.
- Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Ensure the safety of all workers on the job site, providing a safe work environment at all times.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes and regulations.
- Manage and oversee the work of subcontractors, ensuring that all work is completed to the required standard.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and projects are delivered within budget.
- Provide regular progress reports to project managers.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork, building effective working relationships with all members of the project team.
- 3+ years of experience in construction management or a related field.
- High School diploma or GED required. A bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Bilingual English / Spanish preferred.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Ability to read, understand, and explain construction blueprints and floor plans.
- Expertise in standard commercial construction practices.
- Proven ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.
- Ability to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction for demanding clients.
- Deep knowledge of industry safety practices.
- Excellent computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new software. Job Tread experience is a plus.
- Professionalism in manner and attire.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Resourcefulness and ability to work well under pressure.
- Starting salary at $65,000 to $75,000 commensurate with experience.
- 1099 Independent Contractor (possible W-2 employment later).
- Small team environment with upward mobility.
