Construction Safety Manager – Data Center Project
10-Month Contract | 1099 or W2 Accepted

This is a contract assignment. Candidates must have a proven background working on contract-based roles.

We are supporting a major data center construction project in Houston and are looking for an experienced Construction Safety Manager to join the site team on a 10-month contract
.

This position requires a safety professional who is comfortable operating in a contractor-driven environment and has previously supported projects delivered by major general contractors or established subcontractors
.

• Provide day-to-day safety leadership on an active data center construction site
• Enforce site EHS standards and client safety requirements
• Perform site inspections, audits, and incident investigations
• Support subcontractor onboarding, orientations, and ongoing compliance
• Participate in daily coordination meetings and field planning sessions
• Act as a visible safety presence across multiple trades

• Prior experience with a major General Contractor or reputable subcontractor
• Strong construction background (data center experience preferred)
• Demonstrated success in contract-based safety assignments
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, schedule-driven environments
• Confident communicator with site leadership and field teams

• OSHA 30 required (OSHA 510/500 a plus)
• CHST, CSP, or equivalent certifications advantageous
• Solid working knowledge of OSHA standards

• Contract Length: 10 months
• Engagement: 1099 or W2
• Location: Houston, TX (on-site)
• Start Date: Immediate / Near-term
