Position Summary:We are seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations for commercial ground-up construction projects. This individual will lead on-site activities, coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, and uphold safety and quality standards from preconstruction through project completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct and supervise all on-site construction activities and personnel
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to maintain schedules and quality expectations
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols (OSHA and company standards)
- Track daily progress, manage schedules, and report to the Project Manager
- Interpret and implement construction drawings, plans, and specifications
- Conduct regular site meetings and inspections to review progress and resolve issues
- Maintain strong communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
- Proven ability to manage ground-up projects and complex construction schedules
- In-depth knowledge of building systems, codes, safety standards, and construction methods
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Proficiency in construction software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) is a plus
