This is a dynamic role that will provide exposure to various aspects of EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects, offering a solid foundation for growth in the construction industry. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate in Construction Management or a related field who wants to build a career in the heavy industrial construction industry. You'll gain hands-on experience across multiple facets of our projects, supporting both our office and field teams.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in collecting and analyzing project data for support of inspections, quality control, cost control, earned value management (EVM), and reporting.
- Assist Project Management and Construction Management staff with field needs related, but not limited to, reporting, change management, field communications, etc.
- Assist in creating purchase requisitions and tracking material orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to confirm delivery schedules.
- Support procurement efforts, ensuring materials meet project specifications.
- Help develop and update project schedules, including tracking progress.
- Support project managers in preparing weekly and monthly reports.
- Assist field teams with layout, verification, and installation of construction elements.
- Assist in developing construction work packages and turnover documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and field crews to ensure project alignment.
- Perform various administrative tasks to support project execution.
- Support safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with project safety standards.
- All employees are responsible for supporting Audubon Companies' Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. This includes:
- Performing duties in a manner that protects personal and team health and safety
- Participating in required HSE training, meetings, and reporting activities
- Identifying and reporting hazards, near misses, and unsafe conditions
- Following safe work practices and complying with applicable regulatory requirements
- Bachelor's in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and construction software (Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, or similar tools).
- Eager to learn, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
