Position Title: Construction Project Coordinator
The Construction Project Coordinator reports to the Building Manager and assists construction project managers with coordination of resources, reporting, and timeline development in collaboration with the Project Manager.

- Comply with all organizational policies and standards, including safety rules, and be willing to report actual and potential violations to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
- Assist in the preparation and tracking of project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout packages.
- Coordinate day-to-day operations of commercial construction projects, ensuring alignment with project schedules and budgets.
- Communicate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Support the permitting process and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Monitor project milestones and report progress to the project manager and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and equipment usage.
- Conduct regular site visits to verify work progress and quality standards.
- Assist with procurement and inventory management of construction materials and tools.
- Help to enforce safety protocols and ensure job site compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Seek and issue appropriate legal documents such as contracts and terms of agreement.
- Assure compliance with OSHA, ADAAA, and Fire Marshall Regulations.
- Oversee and manage effectively with the project manager and Director to minimize project obstacles.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate’s degree with 5 years construction project experience or a combination of education and experience;
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field. - Proven experience managing capital budgets of at least $3–$5 million.
- Direct experience coordinating with contractors, vendors, and permitting authorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet).
- CAD experience a plus.
- Background in general contracting, including procurement, construction scheduling, and site supervision.
- Experience managing facility improvement projects. Healthcare or laboratory industry experience a plus.
- Ability to develop and interpret schedules, flowcharts, and action plans.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
