Preconstruction Estimator

As our Estimator, you will support the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial construction projects by collaborating with project teams during preconstruction to develop budgets, analyze scopes, and support proposal development. Successful team members in this role demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

• Estimating & Preconstruction Coordination:
  Perform quantity takeoffs, develop budgets and proposals, coordinate with project teams, and support subcontractor/vendor outreach during bid phases.
• Technical & Digital Proficiency:
  Apply knowledge of construction methods and market pricing while using estimating software and maintaining organized project data.
• Strategic Collaboration & Communication:
  Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, participate in pre-bid and design meetings, and provide timely updates to leadership.
• Department Collaboration & Growth:
  Support junior team members, engage in training, and contribute to the improvement of estimating standards and procedures.

• Previous experience in vertical construction estimating across diverse sectors.
• Proficiency in construction takeoff software and tools.
• An established network of subcontractors and suppliers in the construction industry.
• Prior superintendent or project management experience is a plus.
