A top-tier general contractor with decades of success across Texas is hiring a Lead Superintendent to oversee ground-up education, municipal, and commercial construction projects in the Houston metro. This role is ideal for a senior-level builder who has run complex jobs from the ground up and thrives in fast-moving environments where safety, quality, and schedule come first.

You’ll be the face of the project in the field, leading subcontractors, managing site logistics, and working hand-in-hand with the project team to deliver high-profile public and private sector builds.

What You’ll Do

Field Leadership

• Serve as the on-site leader overseeing all phases of construction from mobilization through final punch
• Direct daily operations of subcontractors, suppliers, and labor force to maintain pace, quality, and safety
• Foster a positive and proactive job-site culture; one that holds people accountable while encouraging collaboration

Project Execution

• Manage complex logistics for multi-phase builds, including coordination of deliveries, laydown areas, and equipment
• Ensure strict adherence to project plans, specs, and submittals
• Conduct daily safety and coordination meetings and maintain compliance with all company and OSHA standards

Communication & Coordination

• Partner closely with the Project Manager to drive schedule, track progress, and resolve conflicts in real-time
• Maintain strong communication with architects, owners, and local inspectors
• Produce and manage daily reports, look-ahead schedules, and QA/QC documentation

What You Bring

• 8+ years of experience in commercial construction with at least 3 years as Lead or Senior Superintendent
• Proven success leading K-12, municipal, or other public-sector ground-up construction projects
• Deep understanding of project drawings, specifications, and scheduling tools
• Strong working knowledge of Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, or similar platforms
• Ability to lead, motivate, and manage diverse field teams with a high standard of professionalism
