Substitute-Head Start​/Early Head Start

Ozark Action has openings for Substitute positions at the following locations:
Head Start Centers—(Ava, MO) Douglas County; (West Plains, MO), (Mtn. View, MO), (Willow Springs, MO) Howell County; (Alton, MO), (Thayer, MO) Oregon County; (Bakersfield, MO), (Gainesville, MO) Ozark County; (Cabool, MO), (Houston, MO), (Licking, MO) Texas County; (Grovespring, MO), (Mansfield, MO), (Mtn. Grove, MO) Wright County

Rate of Pay: $15.00 minimum per hour; could lead to a regular center position.

To assist the classroom teacher in promoting social, emotional, and educational development of children and to provide support and guidance to parents and families to integrate classroom activities with home activities.

Substitute—High School Diploma or HiSET.

• Meet established child development outcomes; ability to stand, sit, crawl, climb, kneel, walk, carry, balance, stoop, see, hear, talk, and lift.
• Ensure compliance with program regulations and standards;
  Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Contribute to team effort;
  Promote the Head Start program.
• Develop professional and technical knowledge.
