Job Type### Description Job JI Full-Time Nanny/Household Assistant Mon-Fri 7am to 530pm Rice University, 77005A Rice University family is seeking a professional, communicative, and well-organized nanny/household assistant for a long-term position supporting their one-year-old and assisting with household-related tasks. The child attends full-day school, and during school hours the role will focus primarily on household management. Responsibilities include providing attentive, developmentally appropriate childcare, transporting the child to and from school, maintaining tidy kitchen and common areas, completing child-related tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and organization, running household errands including grocery shopping, and keeping track of household supplies.
The ideal candidate is comfortable assisting with basic pet care, such as feeding the family dog and taking the dog on walks with the child. This position is well suited for a nanny who works confidently and independently, brings a calm and composed presence to the home, and is easy to be around. Mom works from home in a separate office and must remain focused during the day, so the nanny must follow the family’s lead, communicate clearly, and support the household rhythm without taking over.
The schedule is primarily daytime hours, with occasional flexibility needed for evening meetings. This position is available for a start date between now and March.

Mon-Fri 7am to 530pmDuties will include:
