What Mosaic Is

Mosaic is a flat-fee fractional family office serving ~40 entrepreneurial families with $100MM+ net worth and meaningful illiquid wealth. We don’t sell products. We don’t manage money for a fee. We don’t chase transactions.

We act as the family’s general contractor: coordinating across tax, legal, investment, estate, and governance advisors. We charge flat, quarterly retainers with total fee transparency. No AUM. No commissions. No business development. No sales of any kind.

Our clients are first-generation founders who built something real. They are comfortable with concentrated, illiquid holdings because that’s how they created their wealth. Their complexity outstrips what private banks, RIAs, multi-family offices, and trust companies are structurally built to handle.

We’re growing, and we have multiple seats to fill. Rather than posting two nearly identical descriptions that differ mainly in emphasis, we’d rather be honest:
Mosaic needs smart, credentialed, detail-obsessed people who care about doing work that matters for families. Some of those people will gravitate toward planning and analysis. Others will gravitate toward execution and coordination. Most will do some of both.

The Work

Every family Mosaic serves has a web of entities, trusts, advisors, deadlines, and decisions that need to move forward without things falling through the cracks. The work sits across two broad categories, and most team members touch both:

Planning & Strategy. Model complex estate, income tax, and liquidity scenarios. Visualize ownership structures and inter-entity relationships. Summarize and critique trust agreements, shareholder agreements, insurance policies, and tax returns. Create plain-English deliverables that help clients make high-stakes decisions. Turn dense information into actionable clarity using charts, tables, timelines, and real language.

Operations & Execution. Turn sophisticated planning into durable reality. Coordinate across Mosaic departments, external advisors, and family members. Manage tax coordination, entity structuring, banking, insurance, treasury management, lending, charitable giving, and the hundred small things that determine whether a plan actually works or just looks good on paper. Own follow-through.

Regardless of where you land, the standard is the same: the right things happen, in the right order, at the right time, with the right people, and nothing falls through the cracks.
