Summary

The National Builder Project Coordinator supports the development, execution, and growth of national builder programs across multiple regions. This role serves as a key liaison between National Accounts, Branch Leadership, Marketing, and Operations to ensure successful program rollouts, visibility, tracking, and long-term growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities National Builder Programs
  • Assist in launching new national builder programs in newly awarded markets.
  • Introduce and onboard MSI branch teams to national builder programs, ensuring full understanding of scope, standards, and expectations.
  • Coordinate strategic sample distribution to support program startups and market expansions.
  • Partner with Branch Leadership to gain market insight and ensure operational readiness.
  • Support contract execution, pricing alignment, rebates, color continuums, and renewal timelines.
  • Monitor program compliance and ensure consistent execution across all participating branches.
Builder Shows & Events
  • Manage and coordinate all national and regional builder trade shows and partner events.
  • Secure internal approvals for builder meetings and participation.
  • Coordinate sample materials and tabletop displays.
  • Oversee booth setup and teardown logistics.
  • Take detailed meeting notes to ensure accurate follow-up and branch coordination.
  • Track and manage all leads generated from shows.
  • Work closely with branch teams to ensure timely follow-through and measurable outcomes.
  • Maintain and update the Builder Tracking Report with accurate and current data.
  • Provide post-event recap summaries, including opportunities, risks, and next steps.
Process Improvement & Program Execution
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and visibility across builder programs.
  • Streamline communication between National Accounts and branch teams.
  • Optimize lead tracking, reporting, and sample distribution processes.
  • Assist in developing solutions to address startup challenges and program execution issues.
  • Work proactively with branch teams to mitigate risk and ensure smooth program transitions.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date program documentation in SharePoint and internal trackers.
Reporting & Analytics
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating:
    • Builder Wins Report
    • National Builder Activity Report
    • Master Crossover List
    • National Program Rollout Tracker
    • Builder Growth Report
    • RFP, Program & Bid Tracker
  • Analyze program performance and provide leadership with insights on growth, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Support forecasting and pipeline visibility across regions.
Marketing & Sales Support
  • Create and revise marketing materials for trade shows, RFPs, and builder meetings, including:
    • Product catalogs
    • Architectural binders
    • Flyers and brochures
    • Meeting presentations
    • Sample displays
    • RFP documentation (continuums, pricing, presentations, proposals)
  • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure brand consistency and professional presentation standards.
  • Support strategic positioning for competitive bids and national rollouts.
Education and/or Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree desired; candidates with a minimum of 5–10 years of relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Candidates with experience in the building materials, construction, or builder supply industries will be given priority consideration.
  • Must demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, pivot tables, and organizing data sets.
  • Must be highly skilled in developing high‑level PowerPoint presentations with clear data visualization and compelling storytelling.
  • Strong data organization and management skills are required.
