The purpose of this document is to outline AOC Outreach Services (The Agency) and to define both the parameters as well as the scope of contracted professional services solicited by the agency from the 1099 Independent Contractor, who will be referred to within this document as the Independent Service Provider, Business Development Service Provider, or Service Provider.
This Independent Contractor Agreement (this “Agreement”) is made effective as of March 6, 2026, by and between AOC Outreach Services (The Agency) and Leroy Dodd (The Independent Service Provider) for the purpose of establishing a professional relationship with the goal of securing professional services that are to be rendered on behalf of AOC Outreach Services (The Agency) by the named Independent Contractor.
The agreed-upon professional services solicited by “The Agency” through this “Agreement” shall be specified as Business Development Services, which will be provided by the named Independent Contractor within this document. The Independent Service Provider affirms that he/she possesses the necessary professional experience to perform these services in a competent and effective manner.
Scope of Services- Conduct business development meetings on behalf of AOC Outreach Services, including collaboration and optional coordination with interns as needed.
- Meetings should be conducted in a professional manner, with flexibility in timing and duration.
- Contractor will use reasonable efforts to achieve a success rate of at least 80% for that result in a scheduled follow-up meeting leading to a finalized MOU or secured partnership.
- The Independent Service Provider will be compensated per meeting completed, at the agreed-upon rate.
- Provide a summary of completed meetings, including:
• Meetings attended
• Key outcomes or results
• Follow-ups initiated
• Status of leads or opportunities - The format of these summaries is at the discretion of the Independent Service Provider.
The Independent Service Provider will be compensated at a rate of $85 per hour, payable monthly upon receipt of invoice.
Independent Contractor StatusThis Agreement shall commence on March 6, 2026, and will remain in effect until terminated by either party in writing.
