Business Development Analyst​/Manager IC - Interstate Pipelines

The Business Development Analyst/Manager IC position is responsible for supporting the commercial development and execution of pipeline and gas storage growth projects for Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America (NGPL), part of Kinder Morgan’s Gas Pipeline Group. This position provides the opportunity to interact with senior management and help drive the successful completion of projects in a supportive role.

• Work closely with Business Development team to evaluate, implement and commercialize business development strategy
• Support the Origination and manage the development of projects that will enhance the profitability of NGPL, which may include major capital expansions, acquisitions and new project development.
• Identify prospects, develop and maintain models, and prepare draft agreements with potential customers and/or counter parties for approved projects.
• Coordinate multi-discipline, cross-functional teams to produce scopes of work, identify projects’ risks, and produce cost estimates. Departmental interactions will include Facilities Design, Engineering, Environmental, Land, Legal, Accounting, Marketing and Regulatory.
• Evaluate economics for projects and prepare management presentations
• Develop and maintain relationships with new and/or existing customers and other key industry representatives.
• Perform market and competitor analysis.
• Develop working knowledge of pipeline tariffs
• Other duties as assigned
