Lead procurement activities within a defined category of goods and services, strengthening collaboration between stakeholders and key suppliers. Ensure material and service availability at optimal quality and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Oversee contracting strategies, special projects, supplier relationship management, and compliance with procurement policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management: Develop, manage, and renew framework agreements to secure surety of supply at the best TCO.
  • Project Procurement: Commercial lead for EPM, Turnaround, and one‑off projects in alignment with regional procurement teams, ensuring competitive sourcing and issue resolution.
  • Purchase Orders: Manage competitive PO creation (+50K€), ensuring value creation, timely delivery, expediting, and accurate payment.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor category market trends to optimize purchasing decisions and introduce improved techniques, services, and products.
  • Supplier Management: Conduct SRM activities, streamline supplier base, resolve performance issues, drive continuous improvement, and lead annual supplier assessments.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure full adherence to procurement policies, contracting procedures, and legal requirements. Maintain accurate contract/PO documentation and report savings.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive departmental improvement initiatives, share best practices, and support stakeholder awareness sessions.
  • Operational Support: Serve as second-line troubleshooting for urgent procurement issues, supporting operational buyers to prevent supply disruptions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or related field.
  • Procurement certifications preferred (NEVI, CIPS).
  • 5–10 years’ experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Customer Service.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, project management, and process management skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, manufacturing operations, and raw materials.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and cultural awareness.
  • Fluency in English and/or Dutch.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP), business applications, and MS Office.
