The RoleThe Assistant Product Manager will monitor and interpret regional supply and demand fundamentals, economic indicators, trade flows, and competitive activity to support commercial strategy development. You will play a key role in maintaining market intelligence tools, developing demand forecasts, and delivering insights that influence pricing and portfolio management decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze North American market supply and demand drivers to develop forward-looking insights
- Manage and maintain regional demand forecasting processes
- Evaluate sales portfolio performance and identify emerging segment trends
- Monitor trade flows, import/export dynamics, and competitive positioning
- Maintain and update market intelligence systems and databases
- Support pricing decisions through market analysis and structured data consolidation
- Track industry developments, including new production capacity and competitive projects
- Approximately 5+ years of experience in market analysis, commercial analytics, or related roles
- Experience in chemicals, energy, commodities, or similarly dynamic markets preferred
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights
- Effective communicator comfortable working cross-functionally
- Self-starter with strong organizational and prioritization skills
This role provides exposure to commercial strategy, pricing decisions, and market intelligence within a global commodity environment. You will work directly with product leadership and contribute to decisions that impact regional performance and long-term strategy.
