The Supplier Qualification Analyst is responsible for providing support to the Supply Chain Supplier Qualification Team. The Supplier Qualification Analyst will assist in ensuring that authorized materials and service suppliers meet rigorous standards for quality, compliance, schedule adherence and performance.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as initial point of contact for suppliers regarding supplier portal or qualification related questions and issues
  • Assist suppliers with system account management including, but not limited to, updating supplier contacts, company tax  banking information
  • Maintain valuable relationships and provide support for key suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Responsible for maintaining key reports and communicating results as needed
  • Ensure suppliers complete full onboarding and qualification process
  • Manage daily/weekly tasks including supporting suppliers with general issues and training of procurement qualification systems and processes
  • Escalate issues to Supplier Qualification Manager as needed and provide recommendations to maintain compliance and efficiency with standard processes
  • Assist with audit requests for selected suppliers
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Essential Qualifications
  • Minimum BS/BA in Supply Chain Management, Business, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of work experience in purchasing, materials management, or a similar job function
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative and responsive to needs of end users
  • Experience with Oracle and Maximo is preferred
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
  • Knowledge of commodities, products and services for mid-stream Oil & Gas companies. Knowledge of upstream and downstream Oil & Gas companies and supplier requirements are a plus
  • Must be detail oriented, thorough, organized, and efficient
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal skills
  • Interpersonal communication skills are required in order to interface with all affected teams, personnel, and suppliers
  • An organized and detail-oriented self-starter with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work self-sufficiently given direction and resources
  • Understanding of the procure-to-pay process in the purchase of goods and services
  • Regular and reliable attendance
