Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting Technician onboarding readiness by organizing role-specific training materials, checklists, and learning path components
- Assisting with updates to technician qualification cards by improving clarity, structure, consistency, and version control
- Creating and formatting learning assets (job aids, quick reference guides, learner handouts, facilitator support materials) in partnership with Instructional Designer
- Engaging with frontline employees and leaders to support training needs assessments, gap analyses, and content assessments (what exists, what's missing, what isn't working in the field)
- Consolidating field input into clear findings, recommendations, and trackable action items that feed the development roadmap
- Partnering with HR and Marketing to support recruiting and hiring plans for technician roles, including drafting recruiting support materials and talking points
- Supporting recruiting events (career fairs, campus events, targeted recruiting initiatives) and capturing lessons learned to inform onboarding and training design
- Maintaining and updating training infrastructure tools (SharePoint lists/libraries, Microsoft Forms, and Excel trackers) to improve data quality and usability
- Preparing concise status updates and simple progress summaries for the Training team and stakeholders
- Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program (rising junior/senior preferred) or recent graduate in Instructional Design, Learning Sciences, Organizational Development, HR, Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering Management, or related field
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to turn unclear inputs into clean, usable drafts
- Proficiency with MS Office (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, communicate progress clearly, and meet deadlines with minimal direct supervision
- Professional comfort interacting with frontline employees and cross-functional partners (HR, Marketing, Operations)
- Ability to attend occasional local recruiting events as needed (schedule communicated in advance)

This role may require occasional standing/walking at recruiting or employee engagement events.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in creating training materials, job aids, SOP-style documentation, or process guides
- Familiarity with SharePoint lists/libraries, Microsoft Forms, or basic workflow tools (Power Automate is a bonus, not required)
- Interest in operations, field service environments, technical training, or industrial/energy settings
- Comfort engaging with frontline teams to gather input and translate it into clear, usable outputs
- Prior experience supporting recruiting, events, employer branding, or campus engagement initiatives
- Basic data skills (sorting/filtering, simple reporting, clean formatting)

This position will report to the Director of Training and will last for the duration of June-August 2026. Interns are required to be eligible to work full-time (40 hours). This internship is based out of our headquarters in Houston, Texas.
